Bartow, Bartow Municipal Airport - KBOW

This has got to be one of the best little FBOs around. The staff are friendly and quick to provide you with quality, professional services. Very well managed, prompt and courteous service makes it a pleasure to do business with Bartow Flying Service.

Bartow Municipal Airport, first dedicated Dec. 8, 1941, was a P-51 fighter pilot training center. Opening in 1942, this U.S. Army Air Corps base trained more than 7,000 fighter pilots, including astronaut Buzz Adlrin.
