'Bartow' Flight Line Grill, Bartow Municipal Airport - KBOW

We stopped in for Breakfast on Sunday morning. This was our first visit to Bartow. The new terminal building was very beautiful and has a museum of the history of the airport. The restaurant was great; we were met by the owner at the door welcoming us to Bartow. The breakfast was more that we could eat and the service was excellent. The restaurant has both inside and outside tables with front row seating on the ramp. I highly recommend the Flight Line Grill. They just started a Sunday brunch that has both breakfast and lunch items on the menu.

I went looking for a new $100 Hamburger in the Central Florida area and Bartow was one of the few fields still untouched on my list. The restaurant is now the Flight Line Grill. It was a slow Saturday brunch time, but the terminal is clean, new and NICE. The service was incredibly friendly (go Noles!) and attentive and I almost wish I'd sat outside on the covered patio that adjoins to the terminal ramp. The BLT was good and brought out in record time. The sweet tea is REAL Southern Sweet Tea, none of that Yankee crap. It's hard to mess up a BLT, so I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The atmosphere and service have me hooked! They're open for dinner now and it seems like a good place to bring the fiance!
