Clewiston Inn, Clewiston - 2IS (two india serria)

If you want drive home the point that most of Florida's civilization is coastal, make the flight to 2IS. It's a great little airport on the south shore of Lake Okeechobee. Facility is awesome, just no approaches. The town is quite nice and small enough to walk just about everywhere. The Clewiston Inn's cheese burger was good (way better than it looked), their fried grouper sandwich was a hit, but the chicken salad missed the mark. Exploring the town is quite fun, as there are numerous memorials to the British pilots who trained here during WWII and several National Register of Historic Places locations. I'd recommend going on a weekday when more is open/available. The lake is cool too, offering great bass fishing and Roland Martin's Tiki Bar is downright fun and friendly.
